Re: Stealing the GT to save BPJ
Hey look, two outs and a Ray decides to just go with the pitch instead of pulling every muscle in his body trying to hit it 500 feet. And they are about to sweep us.
Fuck this team. Again, I'm forced to watch because it's on at the Taphouse, and my wife and I love this place. I'm thinking about asking them to put both TVs on the Dodger game tho.

No one actually thought we would win 1 gm here. Just complete garbage offense and Ferrer sucks poop dick badly. Worst record in years under Dan and its bad. There is no life to this team at all

Imagine that. Doing the little things who knew. There's a team in the NL doing the same shit. Must be why their both the best teams in their respective leagues.Michael K. wrote: ↑Sun Aug 09, 2026 10:02 pmHey look, two outs and a Ray decides to just go with the pitch instead of pulling every muscle in his body trying to hit it 500 feet. Well Chuck.......There's a well hit ball for you from Cal Raleigh snared on it's way to the wall by Simpson, one of the fastest outfielders in baseball.

But jerry is 100 percent analytics. No wavering. So the team is what it is.Michael K. wrote: ↑Sun Aug 09, 2026 10:02 pmHey look, two outs and a Ray decides to just go with the pitch instead of pulling every muscle in his body trying to hit it 500 feet. And they are about to sweep us.

Ii hate to be a Debbie Downer here...but this season is over. There is zero chance we even win a wild card much less the division. What was supposed to be our season has turned into a dumpster fire full of other burning dumpsters. We are circling the drain.
So we look ahead to next season like we always do cause, you know, we're Mariners fans.
And yet...we are facing a strike and/or a lockout which means whatever moves we make in the off-season will be for naught since everyone will be sitting in Hooters sucking on wings and dollar drafts waiting for the other side to flinch.
By then the A's are rebuilt and in a new stadium. The Rangers get contracts off the books and then go big in free agency. And the Astros go back to being a juggernaut.
Our window has slammed shut.
so, yeah - here's 2028, y'all. We can always hope, right?

For a guy who hasn’t hit above .175 since April. Pathetic
