Looking forward to this one. If he shuts down the Cubs lineup it's gonna be exciting for the future and possible late season magic this year. He should have the edge given that nobody has ever faced him before. It could be a major weapon for the team going forward.

Assuming the Mariners can find a way to make the post season (huge assumption I know), I wonder how many innings he can pitch? I'm sure they've considered that. If he's straight lights-out money and they make the post-season, then they're gonna want him on the mound in those games.

Anyways this should be good. It's on national TV and an early start. Place should be buzzin.

We are starting 4 LH hitters against their LH starting pitcher, David Peterson. Will that bite us in the ass?

Kade is also LH. Cubbies have just two lefties in their starting lineup. Wonder what his pitch count limit is.
