The thread has nothing to do with Trump on any level - yet it reveals folks that have never ending TDS - whackadoodles who are obsessed with him, and therefore everything MUST be about Trump. Funny how there was zero TDS when he was a reality star. No "OMG Trump" until - literally - he took on HIlary Clinton. Somehow, a billionaire who became a reality star - who has spent years displaying an understanding of finance, real estate, law, television, sports, is on equal footing with a deadbeat mayor - who has no identifiable skill set - literally nothing to show competence - at anything - who is in so far over her head as to be laughable - and yet - somehow - with all her failures - her inability to lead or show ANY kind of understanding of economics or civil governance - you have managed to bring it all back to your own Trump Derangement Syndrome.

I've got a couple reactions:

1. Just because someone brings up President Trump doesn't mean there is TDS involved. He's arguably the most important person in the world, and of course, some times he comes up during unrelated conversations.

Serious question: can you point me to someone is literally telling me what to think? I see people espousing opinions, left and right. Some I agree with, some I don't. Some are based on logic and evidence, to some extent. Others are just arm waving.

If I go to CNN and want support for my pre-existing left-leaning viewpoints I can get that.

If I go to FoxNews and want support for my pre-existing right-leaning viewpoints I can get that.

I think you just answered your own question. You say that you see left and right opinions (some based on logic, others not so much), and some of them you agree with and some of them you don't. And that is the difference.
