.660 in AAA. Pretty normal for a LH power hitter. And Jerry isn't getting fired. Praying I am wrong. I would rather have a guy with a .660 vs LHPs and a .900+ over all than a guy at .750 vs both LH are RH which obviously .750 Overall.bpj wrote: ↑Sat Sep 19, 2026 2:24 pmAgreed! But I almost laughed when I heard his OPS against LHP in the minors this season was in the .500's.
A guy that actually fits Dipoto's platoon mold, just as he's about to be fired.

Totally agree. weird comp with Lee who was 13 years older....and a Jerry scrap heap pick up vs a top prospect. Laz was 11 yo that season...Big_Maple wrote: ↑Sat Sep 19, 2026 3:22 pmLaz was a highlight, for sure. But I don't want him to be some version of Dae Ho Lee where he comes in and mashes for a month until they figure out how to pitch to him and his OPS drops 300 points. But I agree that he might be the one bright spot in an otherwise dismal season.
From soup to nuts, this was not a great game by the Mariners. They scratch together a winning run against the worst team in baseball after coughing up their early lead.
This was literally a fight for who is the worst, and we barely came in second. Just awful.
