I guess if there's a silver lining, the Whiners, who have been the best team in the league this season, were handed this game about as much as you can be handed a game and had to rely on incredibly dumb luck at the end to win by 3 points.

But, the d let two consecutive scores to end the game.D-train wrote: ↑Sun Oct 11, 2026 11:48 pmSo many horrible things had to happen for us to lose.
Holani 2 fumbles, both idiotic
Wilson a fumble
Sam with 2 pics
Jobe playing like a 1st grader covering a high school Junior.
JSN with a critical drop
Refusing to throw past line to gain on 3rd and 6
Kupp barely missing the 1st down....
Fucking unreal.
They had two turnovers, but dumb ass Sam played terrible. And McDonald couldn’t adjust the defense. The defense choked at the end.

Easily a top-ten and maybe even a top-five fake-game loss. #1 will probably always be the one in Baltimore in 2003.D-train wrote: ↑Sun Oct 11, 2026 11:48 pmSo many horrible things had to happen for us to lose.

Just ouch. What a mess. Another mess. Three sloppy showings in a row since Sam has returned. Picks, end zone fumbles, even a dropped pass by JSN...this offense is sailing without a rudder.

May George Holani never see another snap in the NFL

Amen. I'm also thinking Lock earned another start. I'll be at the Denver game Thursday night. Would be the perfect time to start him.Seattle or Bust wrote: ↑Mon Oct 12, 2026 12:01 amMay George Holani never see another snap in the NFL

Both Qb's under horrid pressure today. Next year, allow the starting QB to get a few snaps in the pre-season. He still looks rusty.

I'm pretty disappointed, but not near as despondent as you are.Michael K. wrote: ↑Sun Oct 11, 2026 11:48 pmLosing to Washington ruined the season. I have zero faith in this offense.
I damn sure won't watch the post game interviews and will likely avoid sports radio for a few days.

Didn't we call an unnecessary TO at the end of the first half? I ask because if we let the clock run out (which we really should have), Holani never touches the ball there.
Well, at least that wasn't as bad as the one the Montana State coach called last week. Holy shit.

Exactly. Not even worth throwing for 3 freaking yards. It was Sam, could have been a pick, it was Holani, could have been a fumble. All to give Myers a FG that was 9 feet shorter. How are teams into analytics and make that idiotic play call.Michael K. wrote: ↑Sun Oct 11, 2026 11:48 pmLosing to Washington ruined the season. But again, we still have the better team and things should be a lot different when it's championship time.
Oh, and on the 3rd down we settled for three and the tie? JSN wasn't even looked at!? Lines up in the backfield to get the matchup we want, and Darnold gets happy feet and dumps off so an easy FG gets a little easier!?
Dumb offense, and the OC has never been an OC before. I think we all see why. This group greatly misses Kubiak, and I think this is yet another instance that a Defensive minded coach whiffed on an OC hire. Pete did it all the time....and Mike's done it twice.
