Jeezus, Jack Anderson with that submarine pitch nearly scrapes his knuckles on the mound.... he left one in the middle of the plate that left the yard so fast the outfield never moved nor turned around...

I like Penn Murfee.... here's a guy drafted in 2018 in the 33rd round by the M's that could make the club this year. You can always find pitchers in later rounds... Murfee won the "control the zone" minor league award last year. Julio Rodriguez catches a ball in right, but a mental lapse thinking it was the third out allows Orf to advance to third base. A little embarrassment for Julio.... he'll remember.

Another spring training game in the books. The Athletics look to be pretty good this year... and the Mariners, thus far, have not recorded at win this spring at Peoria... We are looking like top contenders for a high draft pick...

How did this become a game thread?

It is Prius drivers and it is not even close. Here is the funny thing, they are soooo smug and self-righteous that they are doing their part for the environment and the electric ones are actually far worse for the environment. Have you seen what mining lithium for batteries does? Or what happens to the lithium battery when they are in an accident and can no longer be used?? Heck just put a nuclear reactor in the back

Prius on two counts. Either driving slowly, perhaps in the wrong lane and other sins. Or driving fast thinking they are some kind of sports car. In all cases I never pass judgement until I pull alongside and notice the grey hair. Then most all is forgiven.

Not the best way to make a good first impression after barely over a month with the company that pretty much saved me.

First of all you named different models of cars and then you go bat shit crazy and lump respectable gentlemen with a wide paintbrush by incorrrectly calling any pickup truck out without the subtle nuances of individual truck preference (rascist at its core)![]()
Gentlemen drive Chevrolet’s
Rednecks drive lifted Ford pieces of crap
I suggest re-education classes. You city boys can’t see the real rednecks.... are ya al color blind![]()

I voted for the fucktard Prius drivers. A close second is Beamer drivers.
Trucks don't bother me so much; some are asshat, smug clowns but every vehicle has those driving around.
I tend to like roundabouts but the I'd vote for 95% of drivers, no matter what they drive, to be the most selfish, lacking of awareness and common sense, unsafe, rule ignoring ignoramuses' on the planet. Roundabouts can be a wonderful tool when used as intended.
My two roundabouts on SR524 between Lynnwood and Bothell are positively insane. Built way too small. No landscaping in the middle to obscure vision purposely (research of roundabouts globally says that's one of the best safety measures).
6-12 cars tailgate through at 25 - 30 mph in one direction (15 mph speed limit) so cars on the right cannot merge. If one is not going "straight" thru a roundabout, turns are still left or right. Does anyone use a blinker? Nah, so you are guessing their intentions. Does anybody realize a roundabout is intended to be like a zipper? Clueless pieces of shit. Are 75% of drivers willing to merge when there is merge space and time? Of course not; too busy pissing their panties, paralyzed for fear of learning how to maneuver in a roundabout.
My former polite toot of the car horn has been turning into a rage blasting hate tool of late.
