But if there aren't good edge rushers or OLs at 16-17 it would be pointless obviously.
Why not make that Ngakoue trade ? And sign Clowney. They both fit under the cap. Both in their 20s. I don't see the downside.

Don't know why Condotta said 11 total. Not sure how you screw that up being the beat writer and all.

I am sure they will trade down to try to set the record for most draft picks in NFL history.
lol yup - I say they trade them all to completely own the 7th round...

Yeah I have no problem at all with it and if I was in charge I would probably do it. I would be pretty surprised if both happen though. Wouldn't be a very Seahawky off season.....

I got the listing of our picks from Tankathon.com, which listed us with a 7th rounder. Today, Tankathon has that pick as having been traded by the Hawks to the Patriots, which would be the Jacob Hollister trade.
Eight picks. Crazy eight, and we'll trade down sometime just to have a 7th rounder, I'm betting.

This would be great. I don't think trading up gets us even one player of the caliber of either of these two. That being said, I was all for the Percy Harvin and Jimmy Graham trades because I thought they were more talented than the picks we gave up would get us. I might not be the right one to ask!

True but this EDGE class is weak as hell. There could be a hidden gem there. Are you willing to take that risk and waste another one of Wilson's prime years with a shitty defense?

you'd have to go on a wild goose Chase to trade all the way up to 2 or 3 for Mr. Young.

And even that doesn't come with a guarantee. Lot of shit talking about Clowney lately. One thing to keep in mind he started the season late and out of shape in a new system playing a different position no less.

If they resign him he will be with the team throughout camp and in playing shape to start the season with a year of experience.
