Did look like we finally had a guy who could put it together.

If Long can be anything like pre-Mariner's Figgins then Shed will be a big part of the team for years to come. They are the exact same size, 5'8".
In the minors, Figgy has more speed and has the switch-hitting advantage. Long shows more power. They both have career .274 batting averages in the lower levels, Shed's OPS is .795 to Chone's .731.
Rocky Colavito is a Hall of Famer in my book!
