That is why I don't get the gender gap in wages. If I owned a business and only had to pay women 70% of what men made why wouldn't I???
Are you talking about a wage gap or an employment gap?
Of course women make the same wages as men if they are doing the same job for the same employer. Isn't that the law? They are employed less mainly due to giving birth and child-rearing. Currently in the U.S. there is a large gender gap in graduate schools in favor of women. Men, or rather boys, are being left behind.
