Projecting the OD starting lineup

Before I read it, here's my prediction

2b Long
SS Crawford
C Tom Murphy
3B Seager
RF Lewis
DH Vogelbach
1B White
LF Fraley
CF Mallex

SP
Gonzales
Graveman
Kikuchi
Walker
Sheffield
Dunn

There are not a lot of RH bats. If game 1 is against a lefty, then I see Moore in the OF over Fraley. Put Moore at #2 and bump everyone else down.

God damn! You need a clothes pin on your nose to hold that lineup card. Predict less than 5 wins in Jully, less than 10 in August.

There are way too many ifs and not enough sure things. You can make an argument for any of those guys having a good season, but I could see every one of them individually fall on their face and do nothing of note. I hope that Long, Crawford, Lewis and White all show they are MLB caliber players for long term, and Sheffield shows he is a long term starter in the league, even if its a #4 guy. That is my hope for the season.

A little MLB-ish experience before they would normally get it won't hurt if they know it won't be held against them and it's all about advancing the learning curve. It sure would make for a more exciting line-up.
