How about this for a solution.....we make it so everyone is equal...every citizen, regardless of race or gender, has the right to say what they want, be who they want, vote for who they want, and believe in what they want so long as it does not adversely affect anyone else.

Wait.....

We already have that in the US Constitution.

What's really amazing and nobody ever brings this up, is if Officer Chauvin takes his knee off of Mr. Floyd's neck and it never even so much as makes the evening news, does ANY of this happen? The protests, the riots, the removal or statues and memorials, the name-changing? Any of it? The death of Rayshard Brooks probably doesn't trigger much because he wasn't helpless like Floyd was. If Chauvin doesn't kill Floyd, this thread doesn't exist. It's not quite the driver of Franz Ferdinand's car taking a wrong turn and stopping right in front of Gavrilio Princip as far as ensuing history goes, but crazy nonetheless.

Totally agree. There was just literally no sane person that could take Chauvin's side. Blatant murder for all the world to see.

And virtually everyone of sound mind agreed, but while Chauvin and the other three cops were being investigated/arrested/charged, BLM, the Democratic Party, and most of all the media saw a goldmine and started this big battle royal that in reality only one to two percent of the American population is tangibly involved in. But apparently that's enough to get the Redskins to change their name.

How did you come up with this "one to two %" Number? You have actual data to back this up? It appears you are talking out of your ass.

It's called mathematics. It's this thing where you make calculations using numbers. They teach it in school and everything.

Imaginary mathematics. You have no data to support that. So talking out of you ass like usual.

Guessing he is looking for the source of the numerator. 1-2% is 3.3 to 6.6 million people.

Actually, no. What you do is you take the number of people protesting in all the cities in America and add them up, plus account for newbies who later join in. Not just the big cities, but the mid-size cities and big towns. To add in the smaller towns you have to do some proration and account for the region. For example, a small town in Pennsylvania would probably have some protesters whereas a small town in Wyoming probably wouldn't.

You then add in members of Antifa and other groups, looters, and people who counter-protest, which really doesn't come to much. In all categories there's estimation that there's no getting around, but when you're talking about millions of people you've got quite a bit of leeway.

Anyway, I put it all together in my head (I'm one of those odd people who can do that) and came up with between four and five million, in a nation of just over 330 million people, hence one to two percent. Now, while polls would show higher numbers, they're counting the same people multiple times.

If there's anything else you'd like to know, just ask. Also, I'd like to thank you for not being a complete hypocrite and making this personal. I really appreciate that.
