On a positive note, JRod should be playing soon.

re: Kel

cautionary pull... he'll be in lineup Saturday per reports (team is off today). It's baseball, guys get banged up from playing every day. Let's all just breath easy knowing it could've been worse.

If the team continues to tank, there's a good chance we end up somewhere between the 2 and 6 pick in the draft.

At least that's something..

JerDip signed another Indy league stud superstar today. He's 29 year old, 6'4, 250#'s Sean Nolin.

Nolin was ranked as the number 5 prospect in the Blue Jays organization on July 26, 2013
He pitched in 6 games for Oakland in 2015 as a starting LHP, going 1-2, 29 innings, 16 K's, 12 walks, 4 HR's.

On August 21, 2016, Nolin underwent Tommy John surgery. He didn't pitch at all in 2016 - 2017.

Long Island Ducks
On May 3, 2019, Nolin signed with the Long Island Ducks of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball.

In 7 games for the Ducks (5 starts), he was 5-0, 1.29 ERA in 35 innings, 38 K's, 6 walks, 5 earned runs, 1 HR.

Seattle Mariners
On June 7, Nolin's contract was purchased by the Seattle Mariners and he was assigned to the Triple-A Tacoma Rainiers.

Maybe he's THE ONE. Magically, robo-reconstructed from TJ surgery and he takes off to lead the M's to uber mediocrity-ville.

Kyle Lewis and Evan White with good games today. Lewis was 2-4 with 2 RBI and his average is up over .250. White was 4-5 with a HR and 2 RBI and his average is up to .271.

Dunn goes 5.2 with 6 K. 10 H, 1 BB and 4 ER.

Sheffield has absolutely no control. He has 5 walks in 3 innings, and has walked in 2 runs in a row.

Another free agent pitcher signed today and stashed in Tacoma in the new, improved, "Always Compete" Dipoto mantra.
June 7, 2019 Seattle Mariners signed free agent RHP Matt Carasiti to a minor league contract.
Carasiti is a 6'3", 27 y.o. was drafted by Colorado in 2012, traded to the Chicago Cubs for Zac Rosscup in 2017. He asked for his release and signed with the Tokyo Yakult Swallows and played all of 2018 in Japan. He signed with the Cubs in January this year, was just released todat and Uncle Jerry scooped him up.
His MLB experience was with the Rockies in 2016, 19 games in relief to the tune of a 9.19 ERA.
Welcome to the party, Mr. Carasiti.

It’s his 8.10 ERA in AA this year that impressed me!
