I remember “Wings”. The actor who played the owner of the rival airline died very recently. And one of the brothers is the lead on “Madam Secretary”.

Debra Jo Rupp is a monster actress. She was indeed killer on ‘That 70s Show’, especially when she was taking the piss out of Red. But think I also saw her on Broadway in the 80s in something I can’t remember.

You should ask and "Why?".... but that's OK and I'll answer...it's easy..... it's mild mannered paper salesman Jim Halpert in the office....everybody likes him, he has a running romance with the best looking girl in the office, he's a terrible salesman who doesn't get any work done, yet he never gets in trouble, never gets perplexed, and is a perfect oasis of calm in the middle of a storm of radical losers and misfits....He is the sublime manipulator of his universe.... :D :D
 Awesome!

Speaking of losers and misfits, Dwight Schrute, Kramer and George Constanza are all tied for #1. lol
I couldn't help but think of the 1st two but George?

I don't typically have all time favorites, I like different guys for different reasons. I do have to give Dr Cox and Turk a shoutout though, because Scrubs if I had to pick a favorite Sitcom, it would be Scrubs, and these 2 make the show.
Dr Cox was a great bit player loved (McGinley) rants: Office Space is another great performance from him

My Mom watched General Hospital every day when I was a kick so I have an aversion to Hospital based shows.
I love them
Scrubs, Grey's Anatomy, etc

TAXI had Danny Devito as the dispatcher, Christopher Lloyd as the drug addled Jim Ignatowski and don't forget Andy Kaufman as Latka Gravas. I think Reverend Jim Ignatowski gets the nod as my all time favorite.
Taxi was a bit b4 my time but not so much that I don't know of its greatness!

I've liked most all that have been brought uo.
Loved MASH and Hawkeye Pierce, of course.
That 70's Show is hilarious, Debra Jo Rupp and Kirtwood Smith as Kitty and Red Forman, whose usual insult is "dumbass" is hysterical.

Harry Morgan as Col. Sherman T. Potter in M.A.S.H.
Yeah, I like him in MASH and Dragnet, so I looked him up....He appeared in The Ox-Bow Incident in 1943 with Henry Fonda, High Noon in 1952 with Gary Cooper, The Glenn Miller Story in 1954 with Jimmy Stewart and Inherit The Wind in 1960 with Spencer Tracy so he's got some credits... died at 96 and he wasn't an original character on the show... But he also had an aura of maintaining his cool around a legion of misfits, malcontents, whiners, and weasels...and since you played a military commander in South Pacific... I can see why you might relate to the guy.... would have been a good part for you to play had you decided to go full time into acting rather than teaching...
Thanks, AT. You are one of the few that has seen me act. It was a lot of fun. The character in South Pacific that I played was Captain Brackett and was based on Russ Brown's version. Had a lot of old WWII guys come up to me after the play and tell me I acted exactly like their commanding officer! Pretty cool!

Russ Brown did two musicals in 1958. South Pacific and one and the other was Damn Yankees. A lot of the guys at the Auburn Dinner Theater wanted to do that play, but we never had the chance. Watch this and you'll understand why.

And this sounds eerily similar to a team we all know and love:

"The 1958 Washington Senators won 61 games, lost 93, and finished in eighth place in the American League, 31 games behind the New York Yankees."
-Wikipedia
South Pacific, by far my favorite Roger's and Hammerstein film, hands down!

“Hot Donna” was Laura Prepon.
