OT Bitcoin, Blockchain and Cryptocurrency

Post by bpj » Sat Jun 22, 2019 5:10 pm

Several months ago I made a post saying to look into cryptocurrency if you hadn't yet.

Despite Bitcoin having just about tripled since then the next millionaires are still to be made.

There are altcoins that are going to make the same kinds of 20,000% returns in the coming bull market that they have done the last few bull markets.

The returns we have seen so far for Bitcoin will pale in comparison to what is coming in the next couple years. Many altcoins are at amazing entry points right now.

I'm not giving financial advice, just saying this is the market I work in and I encourage everybody I know who doesn't hate money to learn about it.

50% gains in a week are not at all unheard of. Posting a recent trade below.

Do you trade it using a standard online trading platform like E-Trade or TD Ameritrade?

Getting in is the hardest part and it's probably all that stands in the way at this point.

Coinbase or Gemini are the gateways, you can link your bank on their site/app and transfer it from there to an exchange.

Many people trade right on Coinbase Pro.

From Coinbase/Gemini many transfer to exchanges like Binance and Kucoin.

There are regulations coming, but Bunance.us is also coming and decentralized exchanges are coming that aren't able to be controlled any more than Bitcoin is.

Gab is pioneering open source software in a similar manner.

When people say, "shut them down!", "turn off their access to their funds!", how quick can banks, or even Facebook with libra shut the user out?

Not the case with decentralized technologies like bitcoin and decentralized open source software.

The only thing that could stop bitcoin is a future without electricity. Likely? I dont think so..

What is the market that you work in? Are you a hedge fund analyst?

A few months back at the Bitcoin lows I said how the bottoming pattern in the Bitcoin chart was bread an butter for me and how I trade stocks normally. I was lold at and told it would never even see 5k again, and here we are and those talking heads won't engage me anymore.

I told a woman in the pub who had bought at 13k that if she could afford to hold through the lows she would get her money back and I would like to see it return to old highs. I hope for her she gets back to 13k and then some.

$8,000 to $13,500 in the last month and it hasn't been retail investing until now.

Now you have people that weren't paying attention because they thought it was dead and they're finally ready to admit they were wrong before it inevitably hits $100,000.

Returns unlike anything since the dot com boom.

Maybe not even then.

These aren't even some of the best 24 hour returns in the market, just my current trades.

And 99% of people still havent made the switch from fiat. Imagine when the masses pour into crypto and blockchain like they did into dot com technology.

That's one thing people dont understand, this isn't just "bitcoin". This is the next technology, like internet and email were. And you're missing it.
