Plenty of quality players on the market this offseason. We shouldn't have to be scrambling at the deadline for the best we can find.

They've been there for the taking all offseason. Dipoto is setting us up to miss the playoffs by a couple games.

Is 1 win really worth $10 mil in today's MLB? I can't imagine how 1 win could generate that much in revenue unless it was the difference between missing or making the play-offs, which obviously isn't likely.

Paxton has value as both a trade chip or even a Qualifying Offer if he pitches very well.

Not quite as black and white as being worth 1 win.

Yes, one of the family favorites. Watched it probably 10 times. My favorite chapter is "the Gal who got Rattled".

I watched it... Best thing on NetFlix in my opinion this year was the Queen's Gambit. From a novel by Walter Tevis, same guy who wrote the Hustler and the Color of Money.
