I didn't read that comment fully, so not sure exactly what was said. But didn't he basically just lay out negotiations? They offered something, the players want more, and he thinks the players will end up giving in. He didn't think that Walker would get a 3 year deal. He kinda did, but its really more like a 2 year deal imo. Paxton did come down on his price, and thats why they signed him.

While I don't have a major problem with anything he said, this is the issue. I think most of the players understand the business side of things that most of what he said shouldn't cause too much damage, but we'll see. Is he in on the negotiations with the players, or is that mostly Dipoto?

It was a shot Julioooooo. Watch the video. His snarky remark was a jab to the chin of self esteem. I wanted to wipe that smug grin off his face when he said it.

Watching the video now. He talks about players that would have "never seen Tmobile or Chaney park in 2020 if it weren't for covid". He was clearly talking about the young players that hadn't played about A ball that they put on the taxi squad, and those were the guys that would have never played in Seattle. Critical deduction tells you that. I think everyone with half a brain knew that already. I don't have one problem with this comment.

Calling it "embarrasing" that they didn't come to an agreement was kinda weird. He probably should have stated that differently, but whatever. He doesn't really clarify why exactly it was embarassing.
