Sunday Game thread
Re: Sunday Game thread
Dude on twitter arguing with me thinking I am crazy for expecting them to play full baseball games instead of 5 or 7 innings and not even require 3 outs in an inning. 37 pitchers in camp. He says not all 37 are available for every game.
I guess I am old enough to remember when you needed significantly less than 37 pitchers to get through a game.

Yay Evan !!!
Re: Sunday Game thread
Look at it like a training event that we are able to watch. They are doing this to get ready for the season, and they allow fans as part of it. I don't see it as a reason to get worked up.D-train wrote: ↑Sun Feb 28, 2021 9:16 pmDude on twitter arguing with me thinking I am crazy for expecting them to play full baseball games instead of 5 or 7 innings and not even require 3 outs in an inning. 37 pitchers in camp. Not worked up about today's game but when they ask fans to travel and pay full price they should at least make the minimal effort to provide what is being paid for.Juliooooo wrote: ↑Sun Feb 28, 2021 9:22 pmLook at it like a training event that we are able to watch. Thats why I wouldn't go the first few weeks. You only get the starters for a few innings. I'd rather they end the inning early than have an injury. They also may need to hold a pitcher back because of soreness, so they don't get all 9 innings.D-train wrote: ↑Sun Feb 28, 2021 9:25 pmNot worked up about today's game but when they ask fans to travel and pay full price they should at least make the minimal effort to provide what is being paid for.Juliooooo wrote: ↑Sun Feb 28, 2021 9:22 pmLook at it like a training event that we are able to watch. You go to Spring training to be in Arizona in March, and see some baseball. If the game goes 8 innings or 9 it shouldn't be the deal breaker for whether its worth it or not.
I'll be there next year, and I'll be lucky if I get to stay 9 innings to any game with my kids LOL.
