Lewis has done some things right, no doubt. He's as big of a question mark as anybody though.

Before last season we had a hole in CF. Then Lewis actually showed up, for awhile...

Things can change quickly. I wouldn't usher him out the door, but I'm not reserving CF for him either if the right offer came along, given that we have Julio/Trammell/Kelenic in hand. We all know Kelenic/Julio are going to get their chances.

What exactly are we going to do with 5 outfielders. Need to turn some players over every once in awhile 🤷‍♂️
How many baseball players do you know who had an .824 OPS and 127 OPS+ through their first 80 games?
I can't tell if you're being serious. That's not that great. Even Dustin Ackley had a .765/117 in his first 90 games.

I'm guessing it would be a pretty long list.

The list might actually be shorter for those who followed it up with a strong career after.

Hundreds of players have started their careers hot. Many only to fall off the face of the planet.

Bucky Jacobsen had an .835 OPS and 119 wRC+ in his 40 games.

They're not world beating numbers that will never be replicated in other words.

I won't bet on less from Kelenic or Trammell 🤷‍♂️

Most notable ROY bust example was Joe Charboneau.

You won't bet on less for Trammell... lol well you're in for a whale of a surprise when he doesn't put up an .800+ OPS. You're honestly anticipating more from him? Jesus.

Gee... I wonder if people in Chicago think Luis Robert is going to be a bust because he struggled late last year as well. I don't get what it is with you people and Kyle Lewis... it's like you want to dislike him.

You do know that only 60 MLB players had a higher OPS than Lewis last season right? There's 30 teams in major league baseball... so on average... only 2 players per roster in the MLB were better and people think he's going to be unworthy of a spot in the M's outfield... of all fucking organizations...   Oh... but a .824 career OPS isn't that good... and Jacobsen wasn't a bust, he had a knee injury that basically ruined his career... he had a .835 OPS and then didn't play another game... are you insinuating that Bucky, who was a great hitter, wasn't impressive when he put up that OPS?

Lewis had a bad month... so has nearly every baseball player who has ever held a bat in their hands.

Lewis had a good month.

So has nearly every other baseball player that ever put on a uniform.

Pot, kettle. No, chicken, egg? Whatever it is..

I realize it could go either way so I would listen to offers.

I don't hate Kyle Lewis. 🤣 What is it with you? Not everything's a quarrel manbun.

I realize Trammell could be under that, but an .825 OPS would rank 12th of 17 qualified LF's in 2019, it's not a high bar, even though it is pretty good for CF 👍

And they probably have faith in Luis Robert because he had a .975 OPS in AAA as a 21 year old.

Again. Can't tell if youre serious on Bucky either. No, he wasn't anything special either. You guys have just gotten used to terrible hitters.

He had the 23rd ranked OPS just among 1B in 2004.

You guys need to expect more from these bums because their peers are actually good.

I've never been down on Lewis. I just really like Kelenic and Julio. I think both can possibly be MVP type players. They will be the future of the Mariners. It's going to come down to Lewis and Trammell. I think Lewis has better tools as far as power, speed and arm, but he does strike out a bit more. It's a good problem, and one of those 2 will likely be in a trade package that brings back some very good players. If bet on it being Trammell though since Lewis was Dipotos first draft pick. Maybe they keep all 4 and use one as DH.
The poster formerly known as Kingfelixk. With a new forum comes a new boardname. Julio is my guy, plus we share a birthday, so that's Culiooooo

Yeah well good thing he's not a left fielder dumb ass. He's a hell of an athlete in CF which is why he's extremely valuable and not some sloth that you have to stick in a corner OF position.

It's funny that you call people "man bun" when you're a 50 year old who still embarrassingly wears Air Jordans... and with jeans no less... you remind me of every old man who gets entirely too aggressive playing pick up basketball despite the fact that you suck.

Lewis probably isn't our best option in CF going forward either 🤷‍♂️ Sorry if that puts a stank in your cooter.

I couldn't care less about Jordan's or fashion manbun. I'll be the first to say that.

I wouldn't pay more than 20 bucks for a pair of shoes if I was barefoot in the desert. They're certainly not "Air Jordans" 🤣

Stop obsessing about what I look like and what I wear, it's not a good look for you Mary 🤣

Buddy... you're not one to talk about "good looks." Trust me on that.

And bullshit. Lewis is an excellent option for us in CF going forward until he proves otherwise. Trust me when I say that your projection of Kyle Lewis, thankfully, is the among the last that I would ever take seriously. And given your track record on predictions... oof... it's like you're a reverse jinx, so thank you.
