Vaccine vs. Mask

They are still saying things like Christmas "might" be more normal this year and you should wear masks into 2022. That is why people get pissed. Zero reason to wear a mask once everyone has access to the vaccine.

Once the vaccine is available to everyone, there is no reason to wear a mask. It is your CHOICE to get the vaccine or not by that time. Anything else mandated is control. If, as Biden states, the vaccine will be available to all no later than July 4, then what is the fuss? Those who don't want to catch the flu each year get a vaccine. Those who think they are immortal don't. But that is their CHOICE. If they don't wish to protect themselves, why should I have to protect them. Hell, maybe we should take away everyone's automobile because of the potential threat to their lives?

I know you're probably being facetious, but I don't feel immortal by not taking vaccines.

I feel that there's a decent chance I won't get it, and even if I do, there's a 99%+ chance of survival. Just like with covid.

It makes a lot of sense for people that are in groups that are at risk of death by getting the disease to get the vaccine. Those groups have proven to be pretty small.

It doesn't make sense if you're not in an at risk category, in my opinion. I don't feel at risk so I don't worry about it and go about my business.

People just need to worry about themselves and stfu about it, like always. (In general I mean, not here)

Yeah the thing that drives me ABSOLUTELY INSANE are those that complain about people not getting the vaccine after it is available to all. WHY WOULD YOU GIVE ONE SINGLE FUCK ABOUT SOMEBODY THAT GOT COVID IF THEY HAD THE CHANCE TO GET THE VACCINE!??!!?

But for the most part people here have stepped outside of their comfort zone and can see the manipulation.

One thing I've said here that I think ruffled feathers was that these muppets just can't change. They've been programmed too deeply, they're irredeemable.

That's not to say they're bad people, just extreme followers that can't think for themselves.

Most people here laughed 5 years ago when we discussed that the news wasn't telling the truth.

Nowadays, the majority can look at what's happening, listen to the news and easily discern where they're misleading us. We've seen it happening in this forum.

From scoffing about the media being fake, to stepping back a little and taking an objective look and now realizing they've been lied to. Many people have woken up, it's great to see.

For some reason the loudest, angriest people are the ones who can't/choose not to see the full picture. They don't believe news media would lie to them to advance an agenda.

Glad they got you fixed up man, that sounds a bit scary. You just not feeling right or something happen?

I was diagnosed with AFIB in December of 2018 which is irregular heartbeat. Very common, but most people don't get it until their 60s and 70s but 25 years of hard core partying probably sped up the process. Had several Cardioversions (shocking the heart back to normal rhythm) but the effect was only temporary. Today they went in threw my groin with catheters that they said were like lit cigarettes and literally burned/destroyed the parts of the heart that were sending the whacked signals. (I asked, you didn't literally use cigarettes did you? )

Finally did the trick and the best news is it is a permanent cure. So after 2.5 years I am finally good to go. Such a relief.

Back the mask topic. I had taken my mask off to drink some juice in the recovery room. When they started wheeling me through the hospital to go home they didn't have me put a mask back on........through a hospital. I go, "don't I need a mask" The guy had to turn the wheelchair around after I reminded him I wasn't wearing a mask and wheel me back to to the nurses station 100 feet away.

I go, "fyi you guy might not of heard about it but there is a pandemic going on, its ALL over the news!") The whole crew of nurses were laughing their asses off while scrambling like crazy to find me a new mask.

They are also not talking about the former Seahawk murdering 5 people including two kids. And if they do they are blaming it on football and stressing the importance of suicide prevention even though he only became suicidal when he was back home surrounded by the police pondering life in prison.
