Justus had a rough first start, but not that bad. He then came back with a 6 inning 2 run game, and held arguably the best lineup in baseball to 3 runs in 5.2. He's been fine.

I'm just basing my opinion on the eye test. I'm far from an expert but I just don't see anything special about his stuff. And as someone else alluded to, he lacks that one pitch to put guys away. Too may of his best 2-strike pitches get fouled off.

Our prospect pitchers are must haves at this point for our success which rarely turns out well imo.

Shannon Drayer tweeted aghast at all the unmasked people in the stands. I checked and Texas is over 70% vaccinated (at least 1/2 shots), plus it's outdoors, plus you don't have to go.

I've traveled a lot in the last year, and have determined that we live in a state full of timid sheep. If I didn't love the mild weather and mountains so much, I'd be out of here.
