TORRENS FUCKING BLOWS!!!!!

THAT WAS A GREAT FUCKING THROW.

FUCKKKKK
From the replay, it looked like he didn't even try to catch it, but just blocked it with his chest protector. WTF! Just unbelievable!

Were they any better when Edgar was hitting coach?
Yes. Markedly.
Well don't remember being particularly happy with it, guess those were the good ol days.

That was the best blocked pitch of the year for Torrens. Too bad it wasn't a pitch...

For the most part this bullpen has been good.
BUT if I'm the coach...I don't allow them to continue pitching after giving up a run in the 8th.
That happens way too much on this squad.
You're job is to come in and keep us in the game.

His OPS was .544 and .598 the last 2 years. At least he plays good defense though. As I said in another thread, I hope he keeps it up. He's one of the good guys, and when he gets it, he can crush it.

Well, at least if we're going to get no hit it's by a real winner like... Jimmy Turnbull...

🤦‍♂️ Typical Mariner fashion. Making bums into Cy Young.

For some reason this team plays to the level of their competition instead of going for the jugular every night. Probably because their leaders are pussies.

He'd be a great 2nd catcher, or in a season like this one, 1st.

He's highest on my list of Mariners that I wanted to be good, but couldn't quite get there.
