Why in God's name would the Mariners want to bring Tyler Anderson back. That loser blew the season for us with his last 2 starts. He had a 4.81 ERA for the M's.

Maybe the M's should also be looking at Erasmo Ramirez too? Why not Mike Leake while we're at it? They're both F/A's fully capable of sucking as hard as Anderson.

Wander Franco just inked an extension and with interpreter and the gm of the rays talked about how good of a fit he is moving forward. Sometimes I shake my head with your ideas and can only hope your not serious.
We need 2 more bats. It would be fantastic to add Bryant at third or Olson at first or Seiya in left or even Schwarber at Dh, Even another trade of Reynolds, Contreras, Ramirez or Marte. We simply cannot be done at this level.

Brash and Kirby are both ready to see what they can do. They aren't going to build any more value sitting in AAA. I think you have to either give them a shot or trade them.

Agree but we are less set in the lineup. I doubt they are going to sign 4 impact FAs so I would prefer the next two be bats.

Brash yes but Kirby won't be ready by mid season given he only pitched 67 innings. Williamson probably close though if there is an early injury.

Honestly did not think we had a chance at Robbie Ray. I mean, a left-hander that just won the Cy Young, I figured he would want 7/175 or better, and that he would get it. But this deal seems pretty reasonable.

If they do the right thing and add one more pitcher for the top of the rotation, we would have 5 guys signed for at least the next 3 years which should make guys like:

Kirby, Hancock, Brash, Williamson..

available to trade for offense. If bats don't want to sign here, sign pitching and trade young pitching for bats.

Sign Rodon, trade for J. Ramirez, sign Suzuki and sign either Conforto or Schwarber and it's an easy contender.
