Another made up trade From MLB.com

This trade deadline is going to be a nothing burger....
The Orioles and Mariners will make the most interesting trade of the Deadline
The elite O’s and middling M’s are properly paired at this Deadline, because Seattle has young, controllable starters that Baltimore needs, and Baltimore has the young, controllable bats that Seattle craves.

If the Mariners were to ship Logan Gilbert to the Orioles for infielder Jordan Westburg, outfielder Heston Kjerstad and lefty DL Hall, both clubs would be addressing their needs in a dynamic way, and the rest of us would have long-term fodder for deal dissection. Everybody wins!

Ya, the M's are going to undersell in a pitcher's market for 2x hitting prospects with about 30 games of MLB experience. Because the M's have said all along that they want prospects back for Gilbert...

Regarding the Orioles, is this just forum speculation or is there something out there indicating the Mariners have talked to them?

Ty France is on the trade block.
Evan White should be healthy afterall...

And we know the Mariners don't just give up on guys making $15M across the next two seasons.

If we go thru ANOTHER rebuild I’m gonna lose my shit. And if we do we need new leadership from the top down since it was his total vision that got us to this point. Absolutely ridiculous.

Manzardo for Aaron Civale... all of M's twitter is freaking out thinking Manzardo is a massive get...

Manzardo is currently hitting .238/.342/.442 w. just 11 homers in AAA as a 1B. I'm not sure how well that translates to the majors...
