These Washington kids are just over rated. He hadn't seen any competition until he got to College, and probably couldn't really adapt fast enough.
That said, he obviously had a good first game.

In two outings, Huard has completed 35 of 59 passes for 430 yards and a touchdown.
So, fast math. Was 24 of 42 for 364 and a score in week one. Too many incompletions though.the lefty quarterback completed 11 of 17 passes for 66 yards and threw an interception

Yeah they mentioned he had a good first game. I am glad he stayed home initially and went to UW unlike Heaps and Max Browne.Michael K. wrote: ↑Mon Sep 11, 2023 6:08 pmThese Washington kids are just over rated. I wonder if its the same school Zorn went too. Zorn's page says Cal Poly Pomona. Huard's just says Cal Poly.

This is the main reason why the Pac-12 is breaking up. It's hard to get national votes when your games are at nearly 2:00 AM on the East Coast. OK, it is Cal, but....

The 8pm games end at about 2:30am ET just a few hours before I get up and watch the DVR recording... At least I have morning football again...

There wasn't enough worry about National interest. All of this uproar blows me away. They didn't give a shit about sports, they did everything they could to kill sports, they did just that by pissing on football, then, SOMEHOW, they were offered over $30 million per school for TV, and turned it down. NOW? Let's get all pissed off and act like we are victims? Bullshit.D-train wrote: ↑Mon Sep 11, 2023 7:12 pmThe 8pm games end at about 2:30am ET just a few hours before I get up and watch the DVR recording... At least I have morning football again...
It became every man for himself once UCLA and USC left, then Colorado bailed...but who can blame them!? I am sorry, they turned down ESPN at $30 million per school. Go piss up a rope with your sudden outrage now. You done fucked up, and if I am not mistaken? They turned this down AFTER Larry Scott was gone. This could have been saved. They fucked up...too fucking bad.

Do you think there will be any more night games next year? I don't think there will be anything later than 5pm PT. This guy on twitter thinks the late games is the main reason we got in the Big 10

We will be a Big 10 team…why would the Big 10 not pay attention? The game will be on during the day, so people will watch. There might still be night games, but for fuck sakes, during the Final 4 year I think we played like one game before 5 pm, and that was a PAC 12 game against someone shitty.

Might be later games between the West Coast schools but guessing they aren't going to make Ohio State and Penn St. and Michigan travel across country and play games that start at 10:30pm or 11pm ET.
