Never to be served with roki sasaki, which is far too rich for Mariner tastes.
Pass me some more Solano, please.

And unfortunately, it's his best move so far..
Still not a bad guy to pair with Shenton.

Another daring move that will inch us closer to a World Series:
"Welcome back, Blake Hunt
We have acquired C Blake Hunt from the Orioles in exchange for cash considerations."
A backup, backup catcher who we flipped to the O's a year ago. Over the past four years, he has a combined batting line of .231/.302/.395, which translates to an 82 WRC+
Look out, Dodgers - this shit just got real!

So with the "12 million dollars" we have left to spend, we're buying career minor leaguers. We'll have to buy 20-25 of them, but I have faith in DiPoto to get it done.

Oh dang, dude! You went there!
How often do you think he gets that joke in the locker rooms?
My orgo TA in college was Harold Dick. He insisted on going with Harold. He must have had some mean-assed parents.
Quantity, not quality. That's our mantra. So with the "12 million dollars" we have left to spend, we're buying career minor leaguers. We'll have to buy 20-25 of them, but I have faith in DiPoto to get it done.

I wonder how "cash considerations" works. Within the week do they name a dollar amount and we say yea or nay? And I wonder if maybe the Oriholes might just say "You know what, this one's on the house, guys".Big_Maple wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2025 8:54 pmOh dang, dude! You went there!

We dumped Samad Taylor off the 40 to make room for hunt. He was listed as an INF so they think Miles Mastroubouni is a better player than Taylor essentially and I don't think I agree with that. Taylor is an exceptional baserunner, elite base-stealer, was pretty good in AAA last yr and Mastrobouni is considerably weaker across the board.
I don't like that trade off.
