SEATTLE -- Jerry Dipoto called the end to the Mariners’ season “incredibly frustrating,” saying that his front office will spend the offseason evaluating its own evaluation process and outlined what the roster will look like in 2025, as part of an impromptu 25-minute media session prior to Saturday's 7-6 walk-off win over Oakland at T-Mobile Park.
So they did that and the solution was to resign a guy that had a .606 OPS at T Mobile.
We all know the solution here: fix the fucking batters eye.

Oh. And then move the outfield fences in till the centerfield wall butts up against second base.

Oh. And fill the bubblegum bowl in the dugout with candy coated steroids. I want this team looking so buff that Mark McGwire looks like their sickly little brother. What the hell...it's not like it would disqualify them from the HOF. The only way these clowns would see the HOF is if they got a player discount pass.

How does Jerry still have a job? He gets an F+ for last year’s off season and is F+ for this off season. Even Vogey would be an upgrade 🤣
Good news is either we make the playoffs or he is finally canned right?
I wouldn’t bet on it as long as ownership makes money. Hopefully I will make a ST game but I think it will be right in the middle of moving back in to the house

Hopefully you can break away while we are at Spring Training for at least a visit.

Polanco is also a switch hitter and a guy that works well with Edgar.
He was horrible after they hired Edgar. Where in the holy hell do you come up with this stuff? There must be a Fort Knox of empty beer cans around your computer station.
He literally said so. They both did. It's not just about the results, its about the work, the plate appearances. He reduced his K rate, upped his walk rate. He continued to be unlucky with babip, but also a small sample size of 90 odd PAs. He was also really banged up with that knee by Sept.

Polanco will rebound and so will Mitch Garver. I really hope we see Arozarena bust out like he's capable of as he nears FA

Good Lord, you actually think up and then against every fiber of your judgment screaming at you not to, you post this drivel.

But on the bright side, there's another entry for the 2025 Mariner slogan, "It's not just about the results!"

Unrelated. Bliss is the 2B and Polanco the 3B.
Yeah, we'll see. Maybe it'll work.
That's what I heard about the Urias/Rojas platoon about a year ago. Jerry even went so for to add the WAR of their two best seasons and say they could be a 5+ WAR player even thought that was in about 220 games. lol
Polanco is dogshit defensively at 2B and he'll probably be just as bad or worse at 3B, but if the bat comes back maybe it'll even out.

Raley's one of the quickest guys on the team.

Curious what makes Polanco a better option at 3B.

We have Scott Rolen waiting to be used, and they're stuffing him up Ty Frances ass at 1B.

Good enough to play CF but relegated to 1B/DH because of a 30+ yo LFer coming off a .700 OPS season.

They are done.

Fans should just not show up.

For the love of God.

I'll go to one home game and that's it. This is a freaking nightmare.

They set a ridiculously low spending figure of 15 million which we all know isn't shit, and then they waste half of it on a guy whose career is just about over, to go with the other two guys on the roster whose careers are just about over. And now they're probably going to blow the rest of it on Justin Turner.

This is the worst offseason in franchise history. At least in the expansion draft we got Ruppert Jones.
