Kirby threw 3 Innings yesterday. He was hitting 98 on the gun and throwing strikes. I think he will have one more start in AAA and then we will see him back.
That is GREAT news. I wonder how he feels this morning?
I'm sure they will be watching his pitch counts for awhile even if he comes back to the fold.
They're watching everybody's pitch counts. I think the Logan injury scared them rather than waking them up to the fact that PCs don't matter. They were giving extra rest and pulling guys at 95 and still Logan encountered his elbow strain.
Since then Woo and Castillo pulled at 80 pitches.

Kirby doesn't need to be built up extensively to handle 80. One more start and he'll be at 60 pitches and ready to handle an 80p workload. Any less, and you might as well just toss him in the bullpen. I mean what are we even doing here?

Miller (elbow) made his first rehab start with Triple-A Tacoma on Friday, allowing one hit and no walks in four scoreless innings. He struck out six.
Analysis
Miller mowed down the opposition Friday, pouring in 42 of his 52 pitches for strikes. The 26-year-old right-hander is working his way back from right elbow inflammation, and he's still likely to need another rehab outing or two before the Mariners feel comfortable activating him from the injured list.

The Mariners placed Raley on the 10-day injured list Wednesday with back spasms.
Analysis
Raley had been dealing with the injury for a few days, and after he made limited improvement, the Mariners decided to deactivate him. He will be eligible to return Aug. 6, but it's not clear whether Raley will be ready to go on that date

Mariners general manager Justin Hollander said Friday that Robles' shoulder is healing as hoped and the 27-year-old outfielder could avoid surgery, Adam Jude of The Seattle Times reports.
ANALYSIS
Robles suffered a small fracture in the humeral head of his left shoulder in early April, which was severe enough for him to be transferred from the 10-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Wednesday. The good news for Robles is that he is healing enough that surgery may not be necessary, making a mid-summer timeline for his return feasible. Est. Return 7/18/2025 Update September is now expected earliest return date.
