Much better to hire a guy like Kubiak who has underwhelmed as a pro coach. Zero track record of college guys working out right?

I don't know what the track record is, what's the track record of filling three important coaching positions with rookies at the same time? That was my point, all three together. Terms of the question, there's been HCs that have made the jump, I don't know about OC's going directly to NFL OC positions. They have gone to other positions, like QB coach. From the comments Grubb made during the season, I think he would have been better served spending a season as an Oline coach or QB before tackling OC

Here's Grubb talking about being the Seahawks oc from a week ago. Guess it's the Alabama radio station
I think the one thing we saw was to control the ball," said Grubb to Ryan Fowler, "We [the Seahawks] were in the top five in the NFL when it came to throwing the football. I think it goes to show if you don't have the right mix of run and pass, you will struggle to win the big games in the big moments. Those were two things that we weren't where we wanted to be running the football, and we needed to improve on that. The NFL was a good reminder that the same things in the college and NFL apply, where balance and creativity have to meet each other each week. Find ways to be creative in the run scheme and do that in the passing game."

Terms of arroyo, the guy gets hyped
“If you look at him in person (6-foot-5, 250 pounds, he should be dominating people, I mean absolutely dominating,” ESPN analyst Louis Riddick said. “Tremendous hands, athleticism. He’s got the entire package. This is what you’re looking for in a prototypical tight end.

It speaks well to his approach to the game that he saw the opportunity to make a play on the guy and put out the effort to track him down.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Fri Jun 20, 2025 12:08 pmCheck out the run down by Arroyo, another DK! lol
