Why use 2024 records? This was the 2025 season.

But that was their 2024 records. A lot of the teams they played were worse this season than last season.

That was likely from the beginning of this season.

Not surprised to see the Lions high up there as they never looked like a bad team, but the Packers had some AWFUL games this season.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Mon Jan 26, 2026 8:38 pmESPN power index with SoS...

After seeing that graphic, we'd BETTER stomp the Patriots.

"What we just accomplished - beating the Niners, (then the Panthers), then the Lambs, then the niners again, then the Lambs again, and won them all. That is an absolute fucking marvel. No team in the NFL could pull that off and I don't think the enormity of that accomplishment of that string of wins can be adequately expressed - that is The Gauntlet of all Gauntlets".
Exactly.
No one can ever say we cheated our way to the Superbowl for sure. How important was home field advantage in the playoffs?!?!
The real 12s understand what this squad just went through. Last night was our Superbowl. And victory is oh so sweet!

The 9ers were actually back to back for us. Last game of the regular season, then we had a Bye, then we beat them again. Crazy shit. Has to just EAT the 9er fans alive.

Eight quarters and zero touchdowns. We made them look like the 1992 Seahawks.Michael K. wrote: ↑Mon Jan 26, 2026 9:28 pmThe 9ers were actually back to back for us. Last game of the regular season, then we had a Bye, then we beat them again. Crazy shit. Has to just EAT the 9er fans alive.

The article is dated August 6, 2025 for this season. Strength of schedule is determined by the previous season's (2024) opponent's record and outlines how many previous (2024) opponents were playoff teams. Wouldn't one have to consider the previous season's standings (data) in an attempt to determine the strength of schedule for this season?
