Free Agents - Cap Space - who stays, who's gone
Re: Free Agents - Cap Space - who stays, who's gone
I'd like to see JS do some outside-the-box moves, like signing Bradford to a ten year, $40 mill a year deal. Hear me out! In year 9 it'll look like a bargain! Catch everyone completely off-guard. Maybe trade JSN for two or three first rounders - I'm looking at you, NY Jets! I don't want $40 million a year wide receivers. I really don't. HIs production can be replaced and I do not see another 1700 yard season coming from him. It's an outlier. Love him, but the cost is too steep - unless the cap hit is closer to 20.

Rasheed's $14 mil seems a little more reasonable now

Who's gonna give up 2 1sts for him? Yeah 40 million is crazy. Not only should there be a cap for teams but there should also be a position cap, don't know how that would work? You mean to tell me a guy who doesn't get probably 50% of the targets deserves 40 million a season, fuck no. RB touch the ball more than WRs. Yes love JSN I do but 40 million is absolute insanity. Sell high when you can, just like stocks. Maybe a rather large signing bonus would help alleviate some of that cap hit.auroraave wrote: ↑Sat Feb 21, 2026 5:54 pmI'd like to see JS do some outside-the-box moves, like signing Bradford to a ten year, $40 mill a year deal. Yes. But a qb on a rookie contract. So, not the same.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Sat Feb 21, 2026 5:29 pmRW's contract cost the Broncos $53 mil last season and $32 mil this one and yet they were able to field a number one seed, it can be done

40 million for JSN. No thanks. Tag him. Let him hold out and show if he is a team guy or not. I think not. He will hold out. He wanted that highest paid comment out there. He wouldn’t have addressed it if not.

Sauce got traded for two firsts. So I think several teams would give two firsts for him.HawkandMariner88 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 21, 2026 7:27 pmWho's gonna give up 2 1sts for him? Yeah 40 million is crazy. Hell no for 40 million.

Trade JSN after next season. Heck, do it sooner if he becomes a problem.
