Leave it to Dipoto to disguise a Legume as Hops for a better brew on the mound. It's the same guy!
Hoppe is a 27 y.o. rookie. When he gets on the mound for the 1st time it'll be his 1st MLB pitch.

. The biggest standout in Hoppe's repertoire was a slider with an almost straight-downward motion. His four-seam fastball also averaged in the upper-90-mile per hour range
