Guess so, but it still holds up remarkably well after all these years. There aren't a lot of time sensitive references other than the Korean War.
Humorous fact though - the actual Korean war lasted only 3 years, while M*A*S*H ran for 11 years.

I watch a few shows with my wife after dinner, and that is about it for me. So I definitely have never spent a lot of time with reruns of Mash.
Yeah MASH did nothing for me either. As a kid I watched Gilligan's Island, the Munster's, Beverly Hillbillies.Michael K. wrote: ↑Wed May 06, 2026 4:28 pmFunny, I didn't much care for either one of them growing up. Didn't much care for Mash either. Can't really remember what I did like back then. Watched Gilligans's Island after school ever day, then it was outside to play some sport or ride bikes, etc. When you have three or four stations to chose from? You get more active.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Tue May 05, 2026 3:23 amI was never able to watch it during it's broadcast time and it didn't seem to air much in syndication, unlike Little House on the Prairie which I liked.
I watched it as an adult. I got the humor but didn't find it funny. Seemed so contrived Never liked Alan Alda or really any of the characters. My most hated band is the Beach Boys which a lot of people love for some reason. Hate that whiny sound. Every song the same with different lyrics.
Aposlolopoulos would make more sense to me to bet on than the names being bandied about. He actually tried to buy a football team recently“I’ve heard a few other names as potential buyers, one who’s a limited partner in an NBA team. Steve Apostolopoulos, a Canadian billionaire, is one to consider—he did bid on the Commanders in 2023,” Breer added in his article.
I guess I'm the second person who never cared for M*A*S*H. I never liked Alan Alda.
