Re: Official 2020 NFL Draft thread
I'm not sure you want to ask a guy who almost always played up in the box and has limited pass defense experience to play safety... not really his m.o...
He'll play KJ's role...

I don't even see how these guys believe their own bullshit. So they tried to trade down but then when they couldn't they were "pleasantly surprised" when the 60th ranked prospect was available at 27. STFU
“He could play inside or outside for us,” Carroll said. “We are going to give this guy a chance and see where he can fit in.”
And while the Seahawks ended up not trading their pick, it wasn’t for a lack of trying.

Schneider said he had a trade lined up that “fell through at the last minute” to move down and that “bang, he (Brooks) was still there. So it worked out great.”
Among the teams Schneider said he was talking to was the Packers, who instead moved up to 26 right in front of Seattle to take quarterback Jordan Love.
Schneider said Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst told him “sorry we got a better deal.” Said Schneider: “It happens.”
Schneider said Brooks was “the best player on the board” when the trade to move down fell through and “we were really excited” to get him.

Re: Official 2020 NFL Draft thread
It smacks of arrogance the way Schneider tries to characterize what anyone with half a brain can see was a fuck-up. The only redeeming thing about taking a guy for a position that is already solid would have been that he was able to get additional draft picks and he couldn't even manage that. It's quite possible now that they will come out of this draft without a single player that can fill a need in a starting role this season.

Well be have 20 O lineman for 5 starting spots so maybe they think we need 12 LBs for the 3 starting spots.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Fri Apr 24, 2020 2:20 pmIt smacks of arrogance the way Schneider tries to characterize what anyone with half a brain can see was a fuck-up. Someone explain to me how Brooks is any different than BBK. 6' 238 lbs 4 56 40 338 tackles in college 10 PD 4InT
Brooks 6'1" (allegedly) 245 lbs 4.5 40 360 tackles 6 PD 2 INT

Everyone other than Carroll-Schneider cocksuckers knows that's bs.Schneider said he had a trade lined up that “fell through at the last minute” to move down and that “bang, he (Brooks) was still there. So it worked out great.”

What is bs about it?...That is who they wanted to draft, they were going to gamble on getting him lower, but having the trade fall though would have had no impact on them having to scramble for another target
