Think I might send White down to Tacoma and let Moore play 1B for a while. Wouldn't hurt us that much and White needs to rebuile his confidence. Just don't do an Ackley on him!

Meanwhile, Crawford leads the team in Grounded Into Double Plays with 3 so far, tying Seager.

Even Vogelbach with 0 lol..

I'm not of the opinion that being slow leads to more double plays. Being a weakling that hits the ball softly and on the ground leads to double plays.

Something these fast little guys tend to do a lot of.

Dee had 8 in 2018 and 10 last season.

Mallex had 11 in 2018 and 7 last season.

Vogey had 4 in 2018 and 4 last season.

Obviously its better to be fast than slow but if you have to choose between power and speed...... well if you hit it into the stands you can crawl around the bases.

This is what I worry about with White.

We all remember when Ackely switched from ATTACK to RETREAT.

That deer in headlights look. Michael Saunders got it.

If Evan stays out there long enough without success, it can get in a players head and as we saw with Ackley, once they know they're overmatched, they're overmatched.

Somehow White has a negative dWAR... Not sure how reliable that is.

Almost all 1B have negative numbers, they start in a hole because they're 1B and it doesn't matter that much.
