This is an interesting game coming up, there's pressure on both teams

Sundays matchup
"It's a lot of pressure," defensive end Nick Bosa said Tuesday. "It's not a must-win because technically your season's over if it's a must-win, but it definitely feels like it. We're treating it that way."
Do the Seahawks respond?

Not so much

Brooke responding to McDonald's criticism of the run defense. I felt that was the problem under Pete, gap discipline. Just focusing on your own responsibility. Not to get into another PFF debate but I think gap discipline is so important but it can't be judged by PFF
The second level run fits are falling short,” Macdonald told local media earlier this week.

That would presumably include starting off-ball linebacker Jerome Baker, who had 14 tackles and one sack versus the Giants. Baker met with the media following Tuesday's practice session. Corbin Smith asked the veteran linebacker about Macdonald's criticism of the run fits.

"I think we're all just trying to make the play," Baker said. "We kind of got out of position sometimes. I think that's the main thing. The intent is there, but we all gotta do our one job, and that's how our defense plays. If I do my job and T [Dodson] does his job, Hank does his job, and Leo does his job, we'd be a great defense. We all just gotta do our job, and we'll be fine."
Who is Brooke?
Meant Baker

Seems Dan Quinn's defense is on the upswing. He points at improved tackling
"Tackling, I would say, would be the biggest one for me," Dan Quinn told reporters Monday after he was asked his perspective on the defense's biggest improvement over the last couple of weeks. "I think on the day, we might have been at four [missed tackles] and we had been in double digits in previous games. So that part, when you have a game where you can tackle, it means our tracking is getting better [and so is] the technique to go through that. I love the energy that our special teams groups are bringing in terms of the coverage aspect. And you know, on those ones, those are tackling opportunities, too.

"So I think the more that we're doing this, the better the tackling is becoming
I was thinking tackling was a function of gap discipline, being in proper position to make the tackle `

The tackling was dogshit tonight. I'm not talking about assignments, I'm talking about when some defender for Seattle has a chance to make a play and doesn't. We made Purdy look like Vick. I thought this was a 7 or 8 win team, and I let myself get carried away by beating some shit teams. But this defense is lacking. I have faith McDonald will fix it, but not this year because a lot of these guys will be gone. Be nice if guys like Murphy and Nwosu could play, but maybe they never will? Some people just spend most of their career on the sidelines. Remember Chad Brown and Anthony Simmons? The best LB random to ever spend every Sunday in street clothes!

Geno is not him. He was seeing Ghosts. Watching him tonight reminded me of the last two or three years of Russ against the Rams.

The Commanders and the Ravens have a showdown game coming up, should be interesting. So JS blew it by not hiring Quinn
The fact Washington is in this position represents a dream for fans. There's a level of positivity and genuine excitement that hasn't been seen for decades. It's not just the on-field results, it's the collective purpose and strategic planning. Things are happening much quicker than anyone thought.

Or had a draft pick high enough to get Jayden Daniels. Come on man. With Daniels we beat the Giants and probably win last night. Healthy and available talent on the defense and talent at QB are the problem. Not our DC.

Why did they have the high pick, because they were a basket case. We may see how legit the start is Sunday but so far it's been an impressive turnaround. You have to give more credit than a just rookie qb. Quinn looks to be doing a nice job, particularly with his defense which has played well the last couple games
