What? His 5 home runs allowed in 16 inning? The sun was in his eyes.Hy Feiber wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2019 4:56 amrockycola wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2019 3:43 amJerDip signed another Indy league stud superstar today. He's 29 year old, 6'4, 250#'s Sean Nolin.
Nolin was ranked as the number 5 prospect in the Blue Jays organization on July 26, 2013
He pitched in 6 games for Oakland in 2015 as a starting LHP, going 1-2, 29 innings, 16 K's, 12 walks, 4 HR's.
On August 21, 2016, Nolin underwent Tommy John surgery. He didn't pitch at all in 2016 - 2017.
Long Island Ducks
On May 3, 2019, Nolin signed with the Long Island Ducks of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball.
In 7 games for the Ducks (5 starts), he was 5-0, 1.29 ERA in 35 innings, 38 K's, 6 walks, 5 earned runs, 1 HR.
Seattle Mariners
On June 7, Nolin's contract was purchased by the Seattle Mariners and he was assigned to the Triple-A Tacoma Rainiers.
Maybe he's THE ONE. Magically, robo-reconstructed from TJ surgery and he takes off to lead the M's to uber mediocrity-ville.

It’s his 8.10 ERA in AA this year that impressed me!
I don't have a problem signing these guys for AAA. When you've signed 30-40 mediocre to bad ones already, sooner or later a mediocre one will displace a bad one.
